About JIS University Kolkata
JIS University is a private university located near Agarpara, Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established by the Government of West Bengal through the JIS University Act of 2014, which started in February 2015. The university is recognized for quality education and is approved by important bodies such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
