Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, also known as MNIT Jaipur, is a public institute that was established in the year 1963. The institute is jointly managed by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. It is approved by AICTE and has been accredited by the NBA. As per NIRF 2026, MNIT Jaipur has been ranked 42nd in the Engineering category and 62nd in the Management category. MNIT Jaipur Application Process
MNIT Jaipur admission begins with an online application process. Candidates must first fill the application form for the entrance exam of preferred course. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates must next apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment.
Selection Rounds
MNIT Jaipur admission is completely entrance-based. For the BTech course, the college accepts valid JEE Main scores. Candidates are then allotted seats after completion of JoSAA Counselling. Admission to MTech is through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, MNIT Jaipur MBA admissions are done through CAT score, where the shortlisted candidates have to appear for the PI round.

Release of Cutoff list, Counselling & Admission Confirmation

The cutoff for BTech, MTech and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies. Whereas, for MBA admission, direct merit lists are released by the institute after declaring the final results of all rounds. The shortlisted candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
