Bharathidasan University (BDU), established in 1982, is a public state university located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, named after the revolutionary Tamil poet Bharathidasan. Its 500-acre main campus at Palkalaiperur, along with a city campus at Khajamalai, hosts 4 faculties, 16 schools, 39 departments, and 29 specialised research centres.

Step 4: Submit the application form online, pay the application processing charges and take a printout of the form. The application processing charges are INR 250 for the SC, ST and SC-A, and for others, it is INR 500. However, the admission processing charges under the Bharathidasan University Distance Education are INR 250 for UG and INR 400 for PG programmes, respectively. For MBA & MCA, it’s INR 500

Bharathidasan University Campus Facilities and Infrastructure

With a campus of 500-acre, the Bharathidasan University is located at Palkalaiperur, Tiruchirappalli. The university offers an excellent infrastructure for sports and games, with a standard 400 metre athletic track.
